Fitness gifts for somebody who trains, from a shop with no gear
The half of training that gets skipped is the sleep, the sore legs and the evening off, and nobody has ever been given a gift for any of it. That is the half this page has. It is not the other half: there is no training equipment anywhere in my catalogue, no protein, no supplement and nothing with a claim on it, so if that is what you came for this is not the page. I pack every box myself here in Canada and write your message onto the card by hand before the lid goes on.
No gear, no protein, no supplements. What I have is the recovery half. I pack every box by hand here in Canada.
Seven boxes about recovery, not training, at $99 and $119, and six of the seven come in two sizes.
They already own better gear than I could buy them. That is not a problem this page is trying to solve.

Theo. This is for the day off. Take one.
Love, Jas
The boxes I would send somebody who trains
Every one of these is filed under something else in my catalogue and none of them mentions a gym. They are here because bath salts, sleep and water are what a hard week actually costs.

The Spa & Thank You Box
From$99Bath salts are the one thing in my whole catalogue a sore pair of legs would actually ask for.
The Rest & Recharge Box
From$99A sleep mask, a neck pillow and a tea for bedtime. Sleep is the half of training nobody gifts.
The Desk Hydration Box
From$99A glass bottle with a sleeve on it, loose leaf and the thing to steep it in.
The Premium Fuel Box
From$99Whole beans and an insulated cup, which is the part of this that happens before six in the morning.
The Relax & Unwind Box
From$99Socks, a candle and a tea, for the evening after a session that went badly.
The Warm Hug Box
From$99Something soft, something for cold feet and a scent. A rest day, more or less.
The Summer Self-Care Box
$119Bath salts, an eye mask, lotion, soap and a candle. The fullest recovery box I have.
Which one, then
A person who trains seriously has already bought the good version of everything in their sport, so competing on gear is a losing game before it starts. Buy the thing they will not buy for themselves instead. If you want the money side of it rather than the choosing side, how much to spend on a gift in Canada is the read.
For the legs
Two boxes from $99 to $119: the Spa & Thank You Box and the Summer Self-Care Box. Bath salts are the only thing in my whole catalogue that a set of stairs on a Tuesday after a heavy Monday would actually ask for. Both of these are built around a bath, and the difference between them is that the first starts lower and the second is sold at one size.
For the parts nobody trains
Two boxes from $99 to $119: the Rest & Recharge Box and the Desk Hydration Box. Sleep and water do more for a training block than anything else you could put in a box, and neither of them is interesting enough for anybody to ever gift. One of these is a sleep mask and a bedtime tea, the other is a bottle they will actually carry.
For the rest day they keep skipping
Three boxes from $99 to $119: the Relax & Unwind Box, the Warm Hug Box and the Premium Fuel Box. Two evenings and one early morning. The last of those is the pre-session half of this and the only box here with coffee in it. Six boxes from $99 to $119: the Spa & Thank You Box, the Rest & Recharge Box, the Desk Hydration Box, the Premium Fuel Box, the Relax & Unwind Box and the Warm Hug Box.
Two sizes on a box, and where the bigger ones are
The boxes on this page run $99 and $119, and six of the seven come in two sizes. The larger size of a box is everything in the smaller one and about two more things, picked the way the rest of it was picked. On this page the larger size is one more thing for the same evening. There is no size of any of these that becomes a piece of equipment.
Eight boxes on the site run a ladder of three sizes instead, and the luxury boxes at the top of it are the fullest things I pack. If you came here meaning to spend more than this page asks for, the links under this are the shortest way there.
Say what it is on the card, or it looks like the wrong gift.
You type the message when you order, up to 280 characters, and I write it out in pen. A box of bath salts arriving at somebody who lifts needs one line explaining itself, and with that line it is the best gift on their shelf. Without it they will think you got them mixed up with somebody else.
If you are stuck, people write things like:
"This is for the day off.""Recovery counts as training.""Sleep is the cheat code."
The card, the tissue, the tape and the rest of what happens to a box before it leaves.
You do not need more gear. You need one evening where you do nothing. Here it is.
Love, Jas
Other things they might be into
If recovery is not the angle you wanted, two shelves here are close to it and one is honestly the same idea.
The sleep and water half of this page has a shelf of its own written around habits rather than around hard sessions.
If you would rather the card read as a treat than as recovery, the same bath boxes are on the page for an hour with the door shut.
And if they race away from home a lot, the sleep mask and the neck pillow are on the page for somebody who travels, which is a better fit for a person living out of a bag.
Questions people ask me
Is there protein, creatine or any supplement in these boxes?
No, none, in any box on this site. I do not pack supplements, powders or anything that makes a health claim, because I am not qualified to choose them for a stranger and the consequences of getting it wrong are not mine to take. Each box has its own page, and that page says what is in it, so you can check that it really is what this one claims.
Is there any actual training gear in here?
No. No straps, no bands, no bottle with a scoop in it, no roller. If you want equipment this is the wrong shop and I would rather you knew that at the top of the page than after you had paid. What I have is what happens in the eighteen hours between sessions.
So why would I send this to somebody who is into fitness?
Because they have already bought the gear and they have not bought the recovery. The person who tracks every set will still be up at midnight and skipping the rest day, and nobody ever gives them anything for that. The card is what turns a bath box into a gift about training rather than a gift that missed.
What do the two sizes mean?
The larger size of a box is everything in the smaller one and about two more things, picked the way the rest of it was picked. The boxes here run $99 and $119, and six of the seven come in two sizes. No price on anything inside the box, so it opens as a gift rather than as a number.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is free anywhere in Canada and a box is 1 to 7 days in transit. There is no same-day option and no arrival date on this page. There is a field at checkout where you pick the delivery date you would prefer. All sales are final, so check the address before you order.
Why the gym person is the hardest person on your list
It is not that they want a lot. It is that they have already bought it, in the specific version they researched, after reading about it for a fortnight. Whatever you buy will be the second-best one they own and they will be kind about it, which is worse. This is the one category where knowing somebody is really into a thing makes them harder to shop for rather than easier.
The way out is to stop shopping the sport. The hours that decide whether a training block works are the ones between sessions, and nobody equips those. Sleep, water, a bath after the heavy day, an evening where the phone is face down. Every one of those is unbought, and any of them is a better gift than a lesser version of gear they already have.
Every box here is packed by hand in Canada and sent with a handwritten card. Shipping is free anywhere in Canada and a box is 1 to 7 days in transit. If none of these is right, every box on the site is in one grid sorted by price.
While you are here
- Gifts for Fitness Enthusiasts and Gym LoversThe longer version, including what not to buy.
- Gifts for the Person Who Has Everything (and Returns the Rest)The same problem in a different category.
- All the boxesThe whole catalogue in one grid, by price.
If you are not sure which box to send somebody who trains, tell me who it is for and roughly what you want to spend and I will tell you what I would pack. I read every message myself, at team@swipegifts.com.
