How it fits around a start date
Nothing here needs a program. It is one order, about two weeks before they start.
When they accept
Order the box. You give me their address and one line about them. Their home is usually better than the office, and the only choice for someone remote.
Two weeks before day one
This is the room I ask for. It is about a week for me to pack and then up to 7 days in transit, and I cannot promise the exact day it arrives.
The box is on its way
Tell them to expect something, or let it be a surprise. The card is from their manager, in the manager’s words, copied out by hand.
Day one
The first thing they read from the company is a note written by a person to them by name.

The names are made up. Every card I write is to the person it is for, by name, by hand.
The card sits on top, so it is the first thing they read.
What a team order costs
Each price is per box, before tax, with a handwritten card and shipping anywhere in Canada included. It is the same box whether you send 5 or 25.

Questions about welcome boxes
Can I order a single welcome basket?
Yes. One box is an ordinary shop order, to one address, on the new job shelf. When you are welcoming several people at once, 5 to 25 go through the order desk at the bottom of this page in a single checkout.
Should it go to their home or the office?
Home is usually better for a box before day one, and it is the only choice for a remote hire. The office works if they are starting on site and you want it on the desk. A box takes 1 to 7 days in transit, so leave room either way.
What should the card say?
Keep it short and sound like the person it is from. Who is glad they have joined, and something they can do if they are stuck. I write it by hand, to them by name, in your words or mine.
What does a welcome basket cost?
Signature $119, Premier $189, Luxury $299, each before tax. Shipping and a handwritten card are included. The price is the same whether you send one or 25.
What if I do not know what they like or cannot eat?
Then say so and I send the box that suits anyone. If you can ask them a quick question first, tell me the answer and I swap what is in theirs. There is no extra charge for either.
Can I send a basket to a whole new cohort?
Yes. 5 to 25 you can order here with a card, to one address. A list of separate home addresses is a quote, and shipping is still free.
Can you put our logo on it?
Not on the card, which is handwritten. A printed insert with your wording is sometimes possible. Ask me before you order and I will say whether it can be printed in time.
How far ahead should I order?
About two weeks before the start date. I cannot promise an exact arrival date, and I will say plainly if a date is tight rather than take the order.
