No border, no customs, no bill at the door.
The box is packed in Canada and shipped to an address in Canada, so it never crosses a border. There is no customs form for you and nothing for them to pay when it arrives, which is not true of a gift mailed north from the US.
You pay in US dollars with your US card, at the price on the page. There is nothing to convert and nothing added at checkout: shipping is free and the card is written by hand at no charge.
I do not ship to US addresses yet. Every box goes to an address in Canada.

Can I send a gift basket to Canada from the USA?
Yes. Order here from anywhere in the US, put their address in Canada in at checkout, and I pack the box by hand in Canada and ship it free to their door. Boxes start at US$70.
Can I pay in US dollars?
Yes. Ordering from the US, the checkout is in US dollars and your card is charged in US dollars, at the price you see before you pay.
Will the person in Canada pay customs or duty?
No. The box is packed in Canada and shipped to an address in Canada, so it never crosses a border. There is no customs form and nothing to pay when it arrives.
Do you ship to addresses in the US?
Not yet. Every box goes to an address in Canada. If the person you are sending to is in the US, this is not the right shop for that one, and I would rather say so here than at checkout.
How long does it take to arrive?
Shipping is free, and a box takes 1 to 7 days in transit once it is on its way. I cannot promise an exact day, so for a birthday or anything with a date on it, order with a week or two of room.
Will my bank add a foreign transaction fee?
You are charged in US dollars, so there is no currency conversion on your card. Some US cards add a fee to any purchase from a business outside the US, whatever the currency; your bank can tell you if yours does.
Can I write the card myself?
Yes. Type it at checkout and I write it out by hand in pen and put it on top. Nothing inside the box shows a price.
