What to write in a get well card
Tell them you are thinking of them and that there is no rush. Skip medical advice and "you will be fine". If you can offer something real, like dinner or a drive, offer it.

Three things that make a get well card land
- Take the pressure off: "no need to reply" is a gift in itself.
- Offer one specific thing, like a meal on Thursday, not "let me know if you need anything".
- For a long illness, "thinking of you" is kinder than "get well soon".
Send it in a box
Pick a line, tap Write it in a box, and choose one of my get well boxes. I write your message on the card by hand, pack the box, and ship it free anywhere in Canada.
